Family First, Fromage Always
We’re sisters (obviously). Best friends. And we love to cook.
Long before we opened our doors in Beaufort, SC, we were running a much smaller operation out of our childhood home in the Pacific Northwest—a fixed-menu PB&J “restaurant” that only accepted Monopoly money and served a devoted crowd of stuffed animals.
We’ve come a long way since those sandwich-counter days, but the heart of what we loved then still drives us now: sharing food, feeding people, and doing it together.
Hospitality is in our blood. We grew up in it, lived it, and never really left it. Between us, we’ve closed dish pits, helped open restaurants, managed dive bars, worked in kitchens that made the New York Times best lists, and traveled to Sweden to make charcuterie by hand. We’ve worked at tide-to-table and farm-to-table restaurants—and we’ve worked on farms.
Sister Sister brings it all together: our roots, our experience, and our love of good food made thoughtfully.
We were raised to believe—and still do—that the dinner table is one of the most important places for community and connection.
Over the years, we’ve come to appreciate every step of the process—but at the end of the day, it’s the act of gathering that means the most to us.
We’ve always believed food brings people together—and we’re honored to welcome you to our table.
